We're excited to announce an after school program introducing yoga and breathing strategies to our transitioning 5th and 6th grade students. There will be two 4 week sessions on Friday afternoons. The goal is to send them off to middle school with tools they can use now and an understanding that they will have created lifelong strategies for themselves. In March there will be a 4 week session offered to 4th graders.
Kristen O’Conner, certified instructor, will be teaching from Little Flower Yoga curriculum. The students will practice stress relief while learning the connections between mind, emotions and physical well-being. Everything they need will be provided. Permission slips will be coming home soon, only 16 students per session.
